rows of huge tuna fish:
and swordfish:
they use a flashlight to check the quality of the fish:
then suddenly somebody rang a bell and somebody else started chanting... they started the auction!
then we saw the first yoshinoya shop ever:
a beef bowl shop at a fish market... who would've guessed?
an then we had maguro don for breakfast. the shop owner said his daughter married a balinese and lives in bali. and while they were visiting, a barong went into their hotel room out of the blue. how scary...
anyway, i'm pleased to report that the maguro (tuna) was also fresh fresh fresh!
and of course, all markets would have veggies...
and vending machines! ha-ha..
then we went back to the hotel, got under the blanket and almost didn't make it to work. thank goodness my cellphone always makes a noise at 7:45 am...
the end. (of the tsukiji fish market trip)
